
VTKEdge Commercial comes with one year of support and updates from the date of purchase. You may elect to extend your support and updates period on a yearly basis, according to the price schedule published on vtkedge.org at the time of renewal.
Support questions must be submitted by the licensed developer via email to support@kitware.com, and must include detailed information on the problem encountered including a test program that will reproduce the issue. In the email please indicate which platforms you tested on, and the configuration of these platforms (OS, number of processors / cores, graphics card, memory, compiler, and any other information that may be relevant.) The test program should be C++ source code that relies only on VTKEdge and VTK. Ideally, the test program will be the simplest example required to reproduce the issue, and preferably under 100 lines of code if possible. If data is required to run the test code, please use the smallest data set possible and either attach it to the email, click here to upload it to Kitware, or indicate how the support team can obtain the data.
If your issue is with a ParaView plug-in that is part of VTKEdge, or if your issue can be demonstrated using one of the VTKEdge ParaView plug-ins, then you may instead send the steps required to reproduce the issue within ParaView, along with any data necessary to show the problem.
Kitware will resolve all bugs as part of the next scheduled release of VTKEdge. The release schedule for VTKEdge is set by Kitware at Kitware's own discretion.
